Chartered Accountant Institutional Equities (Fundamental Research & Analysis)

Jodhpur, India

We are seeking highly motivated and analytically strong Chartered Accountants to join our Institutional Equities Research Team, focusing on Fundamental Analysis & Stock Valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundamental Analysis & Stock Valuation:

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and conduct in-depth analysis of companies across Largecap and Midcap segments.

• Evaluate business fundamentals, industry positioning, management quality, and growth potential to formulate investment views.

Research Report Writing:

• Prepare and publish high-quality research reports, including:

  • Company-specific initiation & update reports

  • Event-driven notes (earnings, M&A, management changes, etc.)

  • Sectoral reports and thematic research

Market Communication:

• Ensure timely and accurate communication of investment ideas to internal and external stakeholders, including strategists, fund managers, and CIOs.

• Present findings and actionable insights that support the investment decision-making process.

Stakeholder Interaction:

• Regular interaction with company managements, analysts, and industry experts to gather relevant insights and updates.

• Attend corporate meetings, analyst meets, and AGMs to stay current with market movements.

Valuation & Modelling:

• Conduct valuation using methodologies such as DCF, Relative Valuation (P/E, EV/EBITDA, etc.), and Sum-of-the-Parts.

• Maintain and update coverage universe financial models on a regular basis.

Candidate Profile:

Education:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) freshly qualified or with up to 1 years of experience preferred.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements, and corporate finance concepts

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

• Proficiency in Excel (financial modelling) and PowerPoint

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Passion for equity markets and investment research
