Role: Sourcing merchandiser Location: Bengaluru Role description: Responsible for Planning, Reporting and Strategizing to achieve On time and In full needs for the Sourcing function Coordinate across factories and regional merchandisers to get update on ongoing orders and provide right level of transparency to all key stakeholders Work with Sourcing head and Planning team to anticipate capacity requirements and actively provide guidance on developing new factories Rollout new initiatives like factory performance scorecard, fast fashion production partnerships etc to achieve strategic goals of the company around low cycle time production Build deep and trust based relationships with key factories Requirements for the role: Strong communication skills - being able to converse fluently with vendors and internal stakeholders Strong Excel skills - ability to generate reports Strong ownership - this role will be autonomous and will require high degree of ownership to succeed Good analytical and interpersonal skills Collaboration and team play Ideal candidate should have worked in Sourcing Merchandising function or as Buying assistants in Fashion Retail companies - across Online or offline,
