Job Description
The ideal candidate is passionatein selling with a background in Ed-Techpreferred or Education with extensive Sales and Marketing background. We are looking for a candidate who will scale up the Sales and will be a big driver in generating revenue. Hence someone with excellent Team Management, persuasive skills.Extensive experience in sales, with managing and selling products in service-based industries. We are seeking individuals who demonstrate great passion and commitment, model impeccable ethical behaviour and integrity, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Expect to have deep understanding of Institutional space in education sector
- Further increase and bring revenues from local/regional/international agents in India, all the neighbouring countries: Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Bhutan, and Middle east through cross selling of products in both overseas and institutional space to existing network.
- Win new business opportunities, including generating proposals and pitching to prospects.
- Support the Overseas Education sector in the design and development of its data products to ensure continuous evolution and alignment with client/ agents and institutions’ needs.
- As an individual contributor you should be able to generate revenue by identifying and close new business deals or by expanding existing business opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Any Graduate
- Track record of success in developing client relationships and working with key senior decision makers at large institutions (based on their international ranking)
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining long term client relationships.
- 15+ years as Business development Manager / Sales Executive / relevant role with proven sales track record
- Exposure in Ed-Tech (preferrable) or education industry/ Talent Marketplace and knowledge about the CRM Software preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, Market Knowledge, Time Management and planning skills
