POSITION SUMMARY: To drive new business development in the global initiative of chain to belt conversions (C2B) in the Industrial market and achieve revenue and margin objectives. This is techno commercial role and works closely with Industrial sales and marketing team to identify and convert business opportunities into revenue. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below. Identify new business opportunities in the targeted end market segments for conversion of chain drives to belt derives and develop detailed proposals and secure the business through Distribution / Direct sales, to meet revenue and profitability targets. Will own the compete sales cycle for the assigned accounts. Identifies the product portfolio for each of the end market segments, route to market and develops customer wise sales plans and executes in conjunction with the Field sales manager Work closely with the engineering team to offer customized system solution to customers Compiles and analyses Industrial Chain product lines in terms of range, route to market and product support programs and make proposals for Belt drives to offer a superior total cost of ownership Proposes product pricing by utilizing market research data on competition, reviewing production and sales costs, volumes Support the preparation of effective quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation for effective C2B proposals to Customers SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role reports to NSM-IPT for Industrial Replacement, Power Transmission QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. BE / B Tech with 8 -10 years" experience in leading engineering organization in Technical Sales / Business development functions Experience in Industrial Chain markets preferable Proven experience in selling to large customers in Process Industries Cement, Steel, Paper, Oil and Gas and Equipment builders and handling national markets Good knowledge of MS Office applications. REQUIRED SKILLS: Good interpersonal skills, experience in working in a matrix structure Strong presentation and communication skills both oral and written with attention to detail and structure to present to senior levels of Customer and internal Self starter with high personal initiative Flair for techno commercial negotiation Good knowledge of the Industrial power transmission market in India preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Good amount of travel ~ 50% to visit customers, channels is required.,
