About the Agency We are a 27-year-old public relations agency, trusted by over 700 brands in the home dcor, architecture, design, and building materials sectors. From legacy players to new-age disruptors, we help clients build credibility and visibility through strategic media relations, editorial partnerships, and thought leadership campaigns. Were looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead outbound growth and sales for our PR services. Key Responsibilities 1. New Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth Identify and generate leads across sectors such as home dcor, architecture, D2C, interiors, real estate, and design-driven brands. Execute a targeted outbound sales strategy to secure PR retainers, media outreach projects, and visibility campaigns. Create custom pitch decks, media proposals, and business strategies aligned with client goals. Lead client conversations, pricing negotiations, and contract closures. Build and maintain a strong pipeline to consistently meet revenue targets. 2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building Represent the agency in client meetings, networking events, and founder discussions. Build long-term, consultative relationships with CMOs, founders, and marketing heads. Stay informed on media trends in design, lifestyle, and architecture to strengthen positioning. Cultivate media-side relationships with editors and publishers relevant to our client base. 3. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion Monitor market dynamics, client needs, and competitor activity to evolve our sales approach. Collaborate closely with internal PR and content teams to ensure alignment between sales promises and delivery capabilities. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling creative, content, or influencer services. Track and report on sales performance, conversion metrics, deal flow, and revenue growth. Qualifications & Skills Required 34 years of experience in business development, PR/media sales, or agency growth roles Strong understanding of PR, storytelling, and brand communications Proven ability to close retainers or strategic deals.
