augurai is looking for a (Machine Vision System) to be based out of our office at Forge Innovation & Ventures located at IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP), Chennai. Position: Business Development Manager - Machine Vision Systems Function: Sales & Marketing Location: Chennai Reports To: CEO Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key Indian industries like automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a business development plan tailored to the Indian market to achieve sales targets and expand market presence. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty. Sales Leadership: Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including preparing proposals and negotiating contracts. Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of machine vision products, customizing solutions to meet the specific needs of Indian clients. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, engineering, customer support) to align efforts and achieve business goals. Market Knowledge: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in India. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business development activities for senior management. Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across India to meet clients and attend industry events.
