Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager (BDM). The BDM will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategies, and executing plans to drive growth and expand our client base. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project/campaign management, excellent strategic planning skills, and the ability to mentor and support a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs). The BDM will also be responsible for assisting BDAs in closing sales, preparing reports, participating in educational fairs and seminars, and maintaining relationships with our B2B clients.

Responsibilities:

  •  Gain a comprehensive understanding of our projects and campaigns to effectively promote our services to potential clients.
  •  Develop strategic plans to drive business growth, identify target markets, and explore new opportunities for expansion.
  •  Train and mentor a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs) to ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve their targets.
  •  Provide guidance and support to BDAs in closing sales by assisting them in presentations, negotiations, and overcoming objections.
  •  Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis to inform decisionmaking and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
  •  Actively participate in educational fairs, seminars, and networking events to build brand awareness, establish connections, and generate leads.
  •  Identify and onboard B2B clients from various sectors including Schools, corporate entities, colleges, coaching institutes, study abroad agencies, and hostels.
  •  Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B clients to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and foster opportunities for upselling and crossselling.

Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
  •  Strong understanding of project and campaign management concepts.
  •  Excellent strategic planning and problemsolving abilities.
  •  Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  •  Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  •  Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  •  Willingness to travel and participate in events as required.
  •  Prior experience in the education sector or related industries is a plus.
