Job Description
We are hiring a proactive Business Development Executive to identify trending and high-demand products by visiting wholesalers and market hubs. The role involves regular field visits to source potential products, understand market trends, build relationships with wholesalers, and help onboard the right products for our platform or retail network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit wholesale markets and vendors in assigned territories.
- Identify trending, fast-selling, and in-demand products across various categories.
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers and negotiate terms.
- Collect product samples, pricing, and catalog details from suppliers.
- Analyze product potential based on price, quality, uniqueness, and demand.
- Report findings to the sourcing/category team with accurate documentation.
- Assist in onboarding selected products/suppliers to the platform.
- Stay updated with seasonal trends, viral items, and competitor offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 12th pass; graduation in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in fieldwork, sourcing, or marketing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and observation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively in local wholesale markets.
- Basic knowledge of trending product categories (e.g., electronics, fashion, lifestyle).
- Must have a smartphone for photography and report submission.
- Two-wheeler preferred.
