Job Description
As a Business Development Manager specializing in Permanent Hiring Solutions with Multi-Industry Expertise at upGrad Rekrut, your primary responsibility will involve expanding our staffing and workforce solutions across various key industries such as Logistics, Telecom, Real Estate, Media, Education, E-Commerce, Retail, and Banks. By driving revenue through volume hiring, lateral recruitment, and Hire-Train-Deploy (HTD) programs, your role will be pivotal in positioning our organization as a strategic talent partner for scalable workforce needs. Your key responsibilities will include industry-specific business development, where you will be tasked with prospecting and onboarding clients in target sectors like Logistics & Supply Chain, Telecom, Real Estate, Media, Education (B2B), E-Commerce Services, Retail, and Banking. Additionally, you will customize HTD programs to address sector-specific skill gaps and engage with HR heads, TA leaders, and operations teams to understand talent challenges while pitching end-to-end staffing models. To drive revenue growth and market expansion, you will need to achieve quarterly targets for client acquisition, placements, and revenue, negotiate contracts, and stay updated with industry intelligence by monitoring hiring trends and offering data-driven insights. The ideal candidate for this role would have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within staffing, RPO, or HR solutions, with a proven track record in selling volume hiring, lateral recruitment, or HTD/workforce solutions. Strong networking skills in corporate HR, TA, or operations teams across the specified sectors and the ability to communicate effectively in industry-specific terms are also essential qualities for success in this role.,
