Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to put your business requirement gathering and testing skills to use while building an exciting career in Business Technology in the BFSI domain with a company that is building the enterprise banking software of tomorrow. So, as a Business Analyst at FYNDNA, you will help develop our next-generation cloud native core solution for global financial institutions / banks. The functionality designed by you when integrated as a deployable domain component would address a functional use case such as withdrawing cash from a savings account from an ATM or disbursement of a home loan from internet banking.
[WHAT YOU WILL DO]
As a member of the Product Management team you will analyse customer requirements and convert them into requirements for a global solution (which will meet the specific customer needs as well as requirements of banks globally) as well as a business solution. Your responsibilities will include functional design of modules across banking domains like Payments, Origination, enterprise Customer, Pricing, Deposit and Lending servicing etc. This will require you to possess good understanding of Banking operations. This will be a ground up development of new software solution and you will are expected to be involved in end to end defining of the solution, development and delivery of solution components. Your responsibilities will include:
• Discuss with customer on requirements, research on requirements in the same area across different customers in the same geography as well as globally and prepare the product backlog as well as detailed user stories
• Ability to identify pain-points of users at all levels and provide solutions to solve these pain points • Participate and perform functional testing to confirm that the developed solution meets the acceptance criteria defined in the user stories
• Work in close coordination with internal and External stake holders like customer, Development and Implementation teams
• Be the SPOC for all functional questions raised by people across the organisation for the areas you are responsible for
• Independently conduct demos, presentations , product workshops for internal audience as well as audience representing banks
• Conduct parts or all the User training in a subject, which includes design, customization, and update training materials and handouts.
• Keeping up to date with the regulatory changes impacting the solution and making changes to the solution as required to keep up with these changes
[WHAT YOU’LL NEED]
As a part of the Product Management team, you will be driven by desire to engineer real time mission critical applications which touch lives, a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. As an integral part of the Product Management team, you will need the following skills to succeed.
• Experience of 4+ years with Hands-On experience in managing day to day activities with strong understanding of operational processes and procedures and experience as a business analyst either in implementation or product development for banking industry.
• We are open to look at seasoned functional testers in the domain of banking having 6+ years of experience and who want to move and grow into a Business Analyst role
• Strong understanding of Banking practices and processes in different domains of banking
• Experience in Requirement gathering, requirements documentation, change management and implementation
• Good understanding of banking processes and the intricacies involved in end to end transaction processing and accounting
• Ability to question why a particular activity is being done and based on this, suggest the desired to-be process
• Strong inclination to keep in touch with what is happening in the industry and impacts of the same • Strong analytical and reasoning ability to justify the solution you design and document
• Good communication skills. Should be able to independently explain the requirements and solution to the customer as well as to the Development and Testing team and ensure that the end product is as per specifications
• Good understanding of SDLC – preferable using agile methodologies
• Be a team player and collaborate with members at different level of organisation hierarchy Added advantage
• Experience in Development or implementation of core banking solutions like Temenos, SAP, Finastra, Fiserv, Flexcube, Finacle
• Experience in UX designs and Principles
• Knowledge of latest innovations in financial domains
• Experience in Techno Functional role
