- You assist in various initiatives running in the F&R apps area and be the bridge between the development and finance team
- You will align with business and define the scope of the work for the development teams to cater business requirements
- You need to provide direction to development teams to ensure the development, UAT and implementation run smoothly
- You have knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks
- You have good SQL skills to pull the data from the db and perform the analysis
- Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with developers, project managers and other team members
Mandatory Skills
- 9-12 years’ of strong experience working as the Business Analyst in the Trading Domain
- Analyze and present complex financial data in a way that is easily understandable. Pro-actively suggest ways to solve problems and to display presentations
- Be the 'Go To' contact for financial and operational issues and act as a trusted business adviser. Develop effective working relationships with the Finance team and leadership, becoming a key point of contact.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently.
- Good SQL skills to write the complex queries to fetch the data from the Data warehouse.
- Ability to manage projects/tasks independently to ensure successful delivery (on time and within budget) while identifying potential issues/risks. Able to prioritize effectively and manage workload against tight deadlines
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation & collaboration skills required to achieve results across the organisation
- High comfort modelling & understanding large & complex data sets into useful information & insights
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills - Pivot, v-look ups and ability to manipulate and draw trends from vast amounts of data. Highly team-oriented approach, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritize a number of conflicting demands to meet exacting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills - can work alongside and gain the trust and respect of stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Credibility and confidence to challenge and propose better ways of doing things as well as build bridges and harmonize divergent interests and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal; excellent presentation and client advisory skills.
