Job Description

BPM Camunda Senior Developer/Lead

Senior Camunda developer to help define workflows using BPMN 2.0 and design it into executable orchestration layer between humans, systems and robots.

Expertise and skills

BS or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems Engineering or Mathematics.
8+ years of technology experience in one of the following: software development or architecture.
5+ years of BPM experience
2+ years of Camunda experience
Comprehensive understanding of Camunda Process Engine, BPMN 2.0, DMN
Hands on experience on Microservices development using Java Spring
Experience and knowledge of performance optimization for microservices, Camunda Process Engine
In depth knowledge of the Camunda Database and Rest APIs
Experience of agile development cycle using Scrum, including backlog development, iteration planning, and iteration tracking.
Knowledge of the Financial Services or Workflow industry.
Knowledge of robust data systems like retail will be good
Must be capable to work under minimum supervision and be a teammate.
Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) Architecture.
Conceptual understanding of Security, Vulnerabilities, Load balancing, clustering, throughput, cloud, caching.
Experience in API patterns, scaling and resiliency architecture is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-team collaboration and partnerships across a variety of internal and external technology teams.

Experience

• Build and Review highly optimized BPMN 2.0 process models.
• Architect Camunda Extensions/Plugins utilizing Java Delegates and Execution Listeners.
• Provide oversight on BPM architectures and solutions.
• Architect highly responsive Straight Through Processing of microservice orchestration.
• Strategies in cloud technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, EKS, Cloud Formation. Experience with containers and well-grounded in the knowledge of engineering and continuous delivery practices.
• Specialization in Camunda BPM platform, infrastructure, and solutions.
• Identify, assess, and explain the BPM technologies and trends that will matter most to State Street three to five years from now.
• It is encouraged that the proposed Future State Architecture has been validated by a number of high-value proofs-of-concept.
• Passion for new technology and hunger to gain expertise quickly.
• Ability to synthesize multiple information sources.
• Drive target architecture for various solutions in Automation Platform
• Develop prototypes and orchestrate solutions in MVP, iterative approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments at once.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in the architecture space and become a trusted partner within the automation platform team and the enterprise architecture community.
• Help State Street business units understand their opportunities to apply BPM technologies.
