Job Description: Bookkeeper Position Title: Bookkeeper Company: Vishram Management Group Location: Remote (Night Shifts) Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper who is well-versed in US accounting standards and has either completed Chartered Accountant (CA) certification or has significant experience working with Chartered Accountants. Key Responsibilities: Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements. Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with US tax regulations. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Software Management: Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and perform bookkeeping tasks. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant laws and regulations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of bookkeeping experience, with significant experience working with Chartered Accountants or having completed CA certification. Knowledge: Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Should have experience in retail or restaurant. Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
