Job Description
The Booking Clerk role involves processing transportation bookings, coordinating schedules, and ensuring accurate entry of shipment or travel details. You will be responsible for handling booking requests via phone, email, or system entry. Additionally, you will enter and update booking information in the system, confirm transport availability, and coordinate with dispatch/operations. Direct communication with customers, dispatchers, and drivers is crucial to confirm availability, schedule pickups/deliveries, and resolve booking issues. Furthermore, you will provide booking confirmations to clients, maintain accurate records, and resolve booking-related queries. In cases where there are no existing orders or available stock in the godown, you are required to place an order for our vehicle. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum qualification of higher secondary pass i.e. 12th. Strong communication and data entry skills are essential for this role. Experience in transportation or logistics is a plus, as well as store handling experience. Proficiency in Ms-Office is also required. This is a Full-time, Permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule consists of Day shift and Fixed shift at the in-person work location.
