As a Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics operations for a large-scale book acquisition and warehousing project. Your key responsibilities will include planning and overseeing the transportation of books from various locations across India to the Noida warehouse, managing vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance tracking, leading warehouse operations, inventory control, and team coordination, as well as ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation throughout all logistics stages. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of logistics/supply chain experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a lead role. You should possess a strong understanding of domestic transport, warehousing, and inventory systems, excellent vendor management skills, proficiency in Excel/ERP systems, and effective communication skills. Prior experience in handling books or delicate items would be advantageous for this position. This role involves working on a high-volume project that requires a proactive, organized, and results-driven approach. You will be based in Noida and will be required to have regular presence at the warehouse to oversee operations effectively.
