Job Description
The Bodyshop PRO (Production Repair Organizer) is responsible for coordinating, managing, and streamlining the workflow within the body shop to ensure efficient vehicle repairs and timely delivery. This role requires strong communication skills to liaise between customers, technicians, estimators, insurance representatives, and suppliers. The Bodyshop PRO plays a crucial role in maintaining high customer satisfaction, optimizing repair processes, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding repair progress and status updates. Communicate effectively with insurance companies, fleet managers, and vendors. Provide accurate repair timelines and keep customers informed throughout the process. Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction. 2. Workflow & Production Management Schedule and prioritize repair work to optimize shop capacity and technician efficiency. Monitor the progress of vehicles throughout the repair process and resolve any delays. Coordinate parts procurement to ensure timely availability for repairs. Work with estimators and technicians to streamline the repair process. 3. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure all repairs meet industry standards, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines. Conduct final inspections before vehicle delivery to ensure workmanship quality. Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations. 4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of repair orders, parts usage, and repair timelines. Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, touch time, and customer satisfaction scores. Assist with invoicing, insurance approvals, and warranty documentation. 5. Team Coordination & Support Work closely with technicians, estimators, and service advisors to ensure smooth operations. Support the body shop manager in achieving financial and operational goals. Assist with training and mentoring staff on best practices and repair procedures.
