Responsibilities

• Assist the development and deployment of advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) for energy storage projects
• Defining communication protocol, and functions of battery packs and containers
• Design and testing of BMS algorithms for state and power estimation, control strategies for thermal systems, and energy strategies to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and advancements in BMS technology and integrate them into the design process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define BMS requirements and specifications for new projects
• Testing and validation of BMS prototypes and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize BMS performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation for BMS development activities
• Engage in the evaluation and selection of BMS components, suppliers, and technology partners
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry developments to recommend strategic enhancements to the BMS architecture
• Support the implementation of safety and quality standards in all BMS-related processes and products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline preferred
