Job Description
You will be joining Lenovo, a global technology powerhouse with a revenue of US$57 billion and a strong presence in 180 markets worldwide. As a part of the UEFI firmware development team in Bangalore, India, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of cutting-edge servers for Lenovo ISG. Your main responsibilities will include developing and fixing features for x86 and ARM server UEFI/BIOS, collaborating with internal teams to integrate new product features, and understanding customer requirements by working closely with end-customers. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, possess expertise in Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, and have at least 6 years of experience in BIOS/UEFI development. Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preferred, along with a strong understanding of UEFI architecture and EDK. Additionally, you should have a good command of C coding skills, industry standards such as BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI, and experience with tools like Intel ITP for debugging system firmware issues. As a successful candidate, you must be well-organized with excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and be ready to contribute to Lenovos continued innovation and commitment to building a smarter future for all.,
