Job Description

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive Functional and Performance Testing of ICU ventilators and other respiratory devices to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before delivery. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during testing. You will also collaborate with the R&D Team to test the software, document the test findings, and prepare reports. Your role will involve providing production support to ensure that production is not hindered by quality testing procedures. You will be expected to maintain company quality standards and assist in upholding the required quality management systems such as ISO 13485 and ICMED 13495 in compliance with regulatory requirements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and end-users, as well as assisting in troubleshooting and repairing medical devices. You will play a key role in the ongoing maintenance and calibration of devices to ensure optimal performance. In addition, you will be required to prepare and maintain all necessary documentation including user manuals, design specifications, and test reports. Your contributions to regulatory submissions will be essential in ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a degree in Biomedical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Diploma in Medical Devices, Biomedical, Instrumentation, MSc/BSc in Respiratory Therapy or Critical care, paramedics, or medical devices. Prior knowledge or experience with ICU ventilators and Respiratory Devices would be advantageous. A strong technical aptitude, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
