Job Description

As a BIM Engineer, your primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality information, data, and models to the Appointing Party while ensuring compliance with contract requirements. You will closely liaise with the project team and act as the main point of contact. Following the project BEP in line with the organization's standards is crucial, as well as coordinating collaborative inputs from various stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing Quality Assurance in the implementation and administration of Building Information Management (BIM) systems and solutions per project. Maintaining close collaboration with Disciplines BIM Leads is essential. Supporting best practices implementation in areas such as BIM environment setup, Quality Assurance, BIM authoring, Virtual Design Coordination, BIM quality review, and information management is also part of your role. Additionally, you will configure, maintain, and administer the project CDE (Common Data Environment) to facilitate effective management, tracking, and monitoring of deliverables. Ensuring the implementation of open BIM standards like IFC or building SMART, as well as international standards such as BS EN ISO 19650 or PAS1192 series, is a key aspect. Integrating leading-edge BIM applications including Scheduling, Cost, Asset Management, and O&M programs into the BIM models is also part of your responsibilities. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality technical design drawings that meet required regulations and client specifications. Developing the BIM technical capabilities of the team, contributing to BIM technical solutions on projects, and coordinating with the project team and external agencies for regulatory compliance are crucial tasks. You will also ensure that internal quality procedures are followed and stay updated on industry developments related to BIM technical solutions. Attending project meetings with internal and external teams, acting as a BIM engineer managing fire and life safety input, developing REVIT family and automated solutions, ensuring statutory and regulatory requirements are met, advising on potential project delays, and supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives are all part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have experience and proven ability to manage projects, a strong track record in BIM delivery, a degree in Engineering or Architecture, experience with MS Office Suite programs, comprehensive experience in technical design and associated discipline software, and relevant qualifications and industry experience with BIM tools.,
