Department: Billing & Commercial / Contracts
Reporting to: Project Manager / Commercial Head


Job Purpose:

To manage end-to-end billing processes for client and subcontractor invoices using SAP, ensure timely and accurate billing, maintain project cost control, and support documentation as per contractual and statutory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Invoicing:

  • Prepare and process client running account (RA) bills and final bills using SAP.

  • Verify and process subcontractor/vendor bills through SAP MM or PS module.

  • Coordinate with site teams to collect work progress updates and measurement sheets.

  • Ensure timely submission and certification of bills from clients and consultants.

SAP Operations:

  • Manage billing-related entries in SAP modules (MM/PS/FICO).

  • Track and update project cost components, service entries, and purchase orders.

  • Generate billing reports, tax invoices, debit/credit notes, and reconciliations from SAP.

  • Coordinate with the SAP support team to resolve any transactional or system issues.

Measurement & Quantity Surveying:

  • Perform quantity take-offs and cross-verification of measurements from drawings and site.

  • Maintain updated measurement books (MB) and site-wise reconciliation reports.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain all billing-related documents: WOs, POs, invoices, tax reports, and certifications.

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements in billing.

  • Prepare material and cost reconciliations (steel, cement, etc.).

Coordination & Communication:

  • Liaise with project, accounts, procurement, and planning departments for billing workflow.

  • Communicate with clients and consultants regarding billing status and approvals.


Key Requirements:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering

  • Experience: 410 years in billing & quantity surveying roles, preferably in construction/EPC

  • Technical Skills:

    • Hands-on experience in SAP (preferably MM, PS, or FICO modules)

    • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP-based reporting

    • Good understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, and contract terms (CPWD, FIDIC, etc.)
