Job Description

As a BI Developer working in the Insights and Analytics team based in India, you will collaborate closely with the Senior BI Manager to ensure that multiple streams in the organization have all necessary data points and basic models in place for generating insights effortlessly. Your main responsibility will be to oversee data preparation and normalization using Power Query, develop code for preparing tabular data, and understand basic modeling principles to support relationship models development. Additionally, you will create analytical expressions using DAX, produce measures for creating visuals, and possess strong visualization skills. In this role, you will facilitate Self-Service enablement by transitioning from data-butlering to self-service analytics. You should have a desire to learn and upskill continuously, maintain a systematic and coherent approach to troubleshooting, and work closely with Data Analysts to ensure timely delivery of deliverables. Desired knowledge includes supporting data modeling, performing DB reviews, developing dashboards, providing insights using existing models and DAX, and collaborating with the line manager to support project delivery. Your experience should include 2 or more years as a data analyst, 1 or more years with Power BI (Dashboard creation, automated dataflows, gateway management), and experience in the retail/ecommerce industry is preferred.
