Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead the identification and implementation of growth opportunities in existing and new markets, driving revenue growth for the company. The ideal candidate will focus on creating new opportunities in current markets, exploring new territories, and establishing partnerships for sustained success. This role calls for a strategic thinker who thrives on entering new markets, cultivating business relationships, negotiating deals, and surpassing competition. The Business Development Manager will oversee the following regions: - Karnataka - Telangana - Andhra Pradesh In addition, the incumbent may also be assigned responsibility for other regions identified by the organization as potential growth areas. Reporting to the Head - Projects, the Business Development Manager will collaborate to ensure organizational objectives and priorities are achieved. Roles & Responsibilities: - Research and identify new business opportunities, markets, customers, partnerships, and innovative approaches to reach existing markets. - Establish contact with key decision-makers in organizations. - Generate leads, meet with clients to nurture relationships, and understand customer needs for effective service delivery. - Focus on customer retention and acquisition to drive business growth. - Develop a robust sales pipeline and opportunities to boost business revenue. - Identify and facilitate sales opportunities in collaboration with the project team. - Maintain consistent engagement with key stakeholders to nurture relationships. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the business and its products to advise others effectively. - Collaborate with the Head of Projects on promotional strategies to enhance revenues. - Drive initial discussions and negotiations with customers. - Foster internal relationships to better serve clients. - Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events. Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of success. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to influence cross-functional teams. - Proficient in data analysis to inform recommendations and actions. - Client servicing, negotiation, and multitasking abilities. - Sound knowledge of planning and sales. - Independent, proactive, and adaptable to uncertainty. The role necessitates regular travel to all retail locations and potential business expansion areas.
