Job Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Barista who loves coffee, values sustainability, and thrives in a creative, community-driven environment. As a barista at Monkey, you will craft high-quality beverages, engage with customers, and contribute to the overall experience of our caf. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve exceptional coffee and tea beverages with precision and artistry. Engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner to enhance their experience. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following hygiene and safety guidelines. Educate customers on our menu, coffee origins, and brewing techniques. Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment. Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations. Uphold Monkeys sustainability and eco-friendly practices, reducing waste wherever possible. Participate in caf events, workshops, and cultural activities. What Were Looking For Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role (preferred, but not required). Passion for coffee, tea, and sustainable food culture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
