Major Responsibilities 

Staff Management
Hiring, training, and supervising bartenders and bar staff
Creating staff schedules and ensuring adequate shift coverage
Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback

Inventory & Stock Control
Managing bar inventory including ordering liquor, mixers, and supplies
Conducting regular stock checks and minimizing waste or theft
Ensuring compliance with alcohol storage and handling regulations

Customer Service
Ensuring excellent customer experience and handling complaints
Managing VIP guests or large parties professionally
Monitoring customer satisfaction and making improvements

Compliance & Safety
Enforcing legal drinking age and responsible alcohol service
Ensuring compliance with local health, safety, and licensing laws
Keeping the bar clean, organized, and up to code

Financial Management
Setting pricing, managing budgets, and achieving sales targets
Handling cash flow, daily reconciliations, and financial reporting
Analyzing bar performance and implementing cost-saving strategies

Menu & Promotions
Working with mixologists or bartenders to create/upkeep the drink menu
Planning and executing promotions and events to attract customers
Coordinating with marketing to increase foot traffic and sales

Equipment & Maintenance
Overseeing proper use and maintenance of bar equipment
Reporting or fixing issues with lighting, refrigeration, or sound systems

Communication & Coordination
Liaising with kitchen staff, suppliers, and upper management
