Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banking Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functions of our banking operations abroad. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient transaction processing, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational risk management in line with local and international banking standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily banking operations including account management, clearing & settlement, payments processing, and reconciliations.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC, FATCA).

Develop and implement operational strategies, SOPs, and automation tools to optimize processes.

Coordinate with IT, compliance, risk, and finance teams to streamline operations.

Monitor operational performance metrics and generate analytical reports for senior management.

Handle internal and external audits; prepare audit documentation and responses.

Lead and mentor operational staff, conducting training to improve productivity and compliance awareness.

Liaise with external vendors, regulatory bodies, and banking partners to ensure smooth workflows.

Continuously assess risk and implement mitigation strategies across operational activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.

215 years of proven experience in banking operations, preferably in an international banking environment.

Strong knowledge of core banking systems, SWIFT, RTGS, NEFT, and payment gateways.

Familiarity with international financial regulations and compliance norms.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Certification in banking (e.g., ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent) is a plus.
