Working Hours: 9.00 am- 7.00 pm Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Bakery Chef to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in baking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting in the preparation of a wide range of baked goods, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met. Key Responsibilities: 1. Baking and Preparation: - Assist in the preparation and baking of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. - Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality. - Measure and mix ingredients, prepare dough, and operate bakery equipment. 2. Quality Control: - Ensure all baked goods meet our quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance. - Conduct regular quality checks and adjust recipes or techniques as needed. 3. Inventory Management: - Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies. - Assist in ordering and stocking ingredients to ensure availability. - Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources. 4. Hygiene and Safety: - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. - Clean and maintain bakery equipment and tools. 5. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with the head baker and other team members to ensure smooth operation. - Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or interns as needed. - Contribute to a positive and productive team environment. 6. Innovation and Creativity: - Stay updated on baking trends and techniques. - Assist in developing new recipes and menu items. - Provide input and ideas for seasonal and special baked goods.
