As a Backend Developer specializing in Scala & Akka Streams, you will be responsible for creating stream flows using Akka Streams, handling real-time ingestion and transformation logic, and monitoring and tuning the performance of stream operations. You will work on building low-latency, real-time pipelines in a data-driven product environment. To excel in this role, you must possess proficiency with Akka Streams and materializers, have Scala development experience, and be familiar with async processing and stream composition. Additionally, knowledge of Kafka and Alpakka integrations, as well as stream supervision and error recovery, will be considered a plus. Apart from technical skills, soft skills like being result-oriented, committed, and demonstrating strong ownership and collaboration skills are highly valued.
