About R3 Consultant

Job Description

As an Aviation Medical Examiner, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough medical examinations for pilots, aircrew, and other aviation personnel to evaluate their physical and mental fitness. It will be your duty to diagnose, treat, and manage any medical conditions that could potentially impact flight safety and performance. You will also be tasked with monitoring and assessing the effects of altitude, G-forces, fatigue, and environmental stressors on the health of aircrew members. Your role will involve providing expert medical consultation on aviation safety issues such as hypoxia, decompression sickness, and spatial disorientation. You will play a key part in developing, implementing, and updating aeromedical standards and health protocols to ensure compliance with both national and international aviation regulations, including those set by organizations such as the FAA, EASA, DGCA, and ICAO. Collaboration will be essential in this position, as you will need to work closely with aviation authorities, flight operations teams, and occupational health departments to guarantee adherence to aviation medical standards. Additionally, you will be required to respond promptly to any in-flight or on-ground medical emergencies, providing necessary support and following evacuation protocols. In addition to your medical duties, you will be responsible for delivering training sessions to aircrew members on various health risks, first aid techniques, fatigue management strategies, and emergency medical procedures. It will also be crucial for you to maintain accurate and confidential medical records in strict compliance with regulatory and ethical standards to ensure the safety and well-being of all aviation personnel.,
