Job Description

As a Test Engineer at FIS, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, and other programmatic test tools necessary for executing test plans. Your responsibilities will include performing usability testing to evaluate total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Effective communication of testing activities and findings in both oral and written forms will be a key aspect of your role, along with providing internal quality assurance support. You will collaborate with the test lead to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in test case creation and execution, various types of testing such as risk-based testing, integration testing, unit testing, and regression testing, as well as understanding of priority and severity levels. Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Rally, SPIRA, ALM, Jenkins, Git, and SVN is essential. Experience with automation tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Web API Testing, and Postman or SOAP UI will be beneficial.
