Job Description

Location- Pan India (WFH)- Mumbai/Pune will be preffered.
Candidates from Mumbai/Pune location will have Hybrid Model and others will be required to go to office once or twice in 2-3 months.
Budget- 12 LPA- 25 LPA (will vary according to the experience).
Notice Period- 15 days- 60 days (max)
Interview- 3 technical rounds (all virtual)
Experience- 6-8 years
Relavent experience- 6 years is needed.
Skills needed: Core Java, OOPS, Relational Database (PostgreSQL, MySQL OR Oracle RDBMS), SVN, VSS, GIT, JIRA, HP ALM, Selenium, Cusumber BDD, REST API testing tools (POSTMAN, SOAPUI, Etc), Web API, Test cases, Test Planning.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing
along with test script creation, execution and maintenance of automated scripts.
• You will be working closely with your team members to build automation test suites to verify the
quality, security, and scalability of our product in cloud environments.
• Engage with product and engineering team to deliver component, integration and E2E teststo ensure
all requirements, features, or stories have been fully tested and accepted by the stakeholders prior
to deployment.
• You will keep track of new/emerging test tools and industry trends and make suggestions for
improvement of existing test frameworks.

Automation Testing activities will include:
• Analyse, design and build automated test cases based on system requirements and design
specifications.
• Participate in design & implementation of automation Framework design and Implementation.
• Understand functional content of assigned projects and selecting or Identifying Areas/Test
cases for Automation.
• Identifying end-to-end scenarios and code modularity.
• Creating Automation Test Plan and getting approvals.
• Creating, Organising, and managing Test Automation Resources.
• Creating, Enhancing, debugging, and Running Test Cases.
• Reviewing the Test Reports and Preparing Test Summary Report.
• Reporting any defects/Observation on day to day basis.
• Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues.
• Co-coordinating with Test team members and Development team in order to resolve the
issues.
• Organising, monitoring defect management process. Handling changes and conductsmoke and
regression tests.
• Test software to ensure functional accuracy as well as meet non-functional criteria for
responsiveness and efficiency.
• Results oriented and focused on meeting deliverable timelines.
• Ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques.
• Schedule runs by integrating with CI/CD pipelines.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
As an integral part of the Software Quality Assurance Engineering team, you will need the following
skills to succeed.

Proficient:
• Good understanding of Core JAVA and OOPs Concepts
• Relational Database like PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle RDBMS
• Exposure to versioning tools like SVN, VSS, Git etc
• Defect tracking tool like Jira, HP ALM etc
• CI/CD integration tools like Jenkins

Hands on experience:
• Strong expertise in Selenium web driver and Cucumber BDD automation frameworks.
• Strong expertise in REST API testing automation tools. (eg: Postman, SoapUI etc.)
• Experience in Java Integrated Development Environment (eg: Eclipse IDE, VSS etc.)
• Should be able to develop test automation framework for Web and API from scratch.
• Designs the overall testing plan, test case run lines and master test scheduling process.

Added advantage:
• Experience with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle is a plus.
• Working knowledge in continuous integration and continuous deployment principles.
• Exposure to Agile based Software Development cycle.
• Experience of handling large data sets and scaling their handling and storage.
• Exposure to Load Testing tools and other non-functional testing is a plus.
