Job Description

As a QA Automation Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your main responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python. You will design and implement automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key, as you work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define and establish automation strategies. You will also be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools, conducting thorough regression testing, and participating in code reviews to ensure testability and best practices. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. You must have proven experience in developing and executing automated tests using Robot Framework and a strong proficiency in Python programming. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, experience with version control systems such as Git, and a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies are also required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills will be essential for success in this role. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with other automation tools and frameworks, knowledge of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development), familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
