Job Description

As a Lead Automation Architect with expertise in GenAI/AI/ML, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced automation frameworks at Birlasoft. Your role will involve leveraging your skills in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and Python to create efficient and scalable automation solutions. It is essential to have a deep understanding of Shift left methodologies, no-code/less-code frameworks, and design patterns to drive the automation strategy forward. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing automation frameworks for Shift left and no-code/less-code environments, leading automation architecture design using Java, Selenium, and Python, and actively participating in coding and scripting for automation script development and maintenance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into the CI/CD pipeline, applying design patterns to create scalable automation frameworks, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior automation engineers are also crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, staying updated with the latest industry trends in automation technologies, interfacing with Business/Engineering to convert requirements into implementation architectures, and possessing experience in designing and implementing generative models and architectures will be expected. Proficiency in Python programming and ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, along with familiarity with AWS/Azure and containerization technologies, are preferred qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with proven experience as an Automation Architect or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming languages, extensive experience with Selenium and Playwright for automation testing, and hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks for Shift left and no-code/less-code environments are essential qualifications. Knowledge of design patterns and design principles, as well as experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms, will be advantageous for this role. Familiarity with Accessibility testing, Test Data management tools, and ERP applications such as SAP, Guidewire, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, or Oracle ERP will also be beneficial.,
