Job Description: Interior DraftsmanKey Responsibilities: Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for interior layouts, furniture, and fixtures. Create technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections based on design concepts. Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and contractors to ensure design feasibility. Prepare shop drawings for furniture, cabinetry, and custom interior elements. Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and client requirements. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients or project managers. Assist in material selection and specification by preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities). Conduct site visits to take measurements and verify existing conditions. Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software. Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and construction methods. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering blueprints. Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings. Understanding of building codes and industry standards. Good communication skills to collaborate with the design team and contractors. Diploma or degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
