Job Description

The Audit Associate position requires a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join the audit team. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in tax audits and internal audits for clients from diverse industries. A strong working knowledge of Accounting, GST, and TDS is crucial for this role. Your key responsibilities will involve executing statutory, tax, and internal audits for clients in different sectors. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements as per relevant accounting standards. Additionally, vouching, verification, and reconciliation of financial data will be part of your duties. You will also need to review and prepare GST workings, returns, and reconciliations, ensuring timely deduction and deposit of TDS and filing related returns. Preparation of audit reports, compliance checks, documentation, and process improvements will also be within your scope. Interacting with clients to gather necessary information and address queries will be an integral part of your role. It is essential to stay updated with changes in laws related to GST, TDS provisions, and Income Tax. The ideal candidate for this position should have a B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / Semi-qualified CA or similar qualification, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in audit or accounting. Key skills required include a strong understanding of Accounting Principles, good knowledge of GST provisions and returns, familiarity with TDS deduction, rates, and return filing, proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting software, as well as effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
