Job Description for Audit Assistant

Budget :- Max 3 LPA( maximum 3lakhs per annum and above 2years experience negotiable)
Interview Process:-1st round.Zoom call and 2nd round face-to-face interview
Skills:-  tally ERP9, ms office, GST Filing, TDS filing, Income Tax filing
Location: Villupuram and Thanjavur 

Years of experience: maximum 2 years experience and above 2 years will be okay

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated accountant to join our Audit & Consulting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounting functions of our client, while working closely with our consulting team. This position will be permanent and reporting to the client place.

Responsibilities:

  •  Monitoring and ensuring accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
  •  Carry out vouching of transactions and approve the same as per policy
  •  Ensure bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations are completed
  •  Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  •  Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  •  Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors regarding invoices and payments
  •  Assist client with the filing of monthly and quarterly GST and TDS returns
  •  Assist in Monthly MIS preparation based on Office & client request
  •  Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor& degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  •  1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Prior work experience in a Chartered accountant’s office will be preferred
