Job Description

Primary Work as an individual contributor as well as guide the team members (in MES DDC) Contribute to design and development of mechanical and structural components and systems of Mast Hoisting Gear (MHG) . Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate design integrity and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, project management and through-life support. Coordinate among different departments and/or internal/external laboratories to perform experimental work. Perform literature or web survey, read and understand literatures and various standards to address design / R&D requirement Prepare, review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications. P reparing drawings with an understanding of manufacturing process and releasing the drawings in PLM. Resolving Design Changes and Non Conformity Willing to travel to any place across India to visit vendor / customer / test facility Secondary Prior experience of working with PLM. Awareness of CMMI Level V for design and developmental project is preferred I dentify and develop skill sets required for ongoing / future design projects Areas Of Exposure/ Work Background Desired Machine Design, Strength of Materials, FEA using Hypermesh and Ansys Mechanical, CAD (UG NX), FEA Fundamentals, Mechanics of Materials, Mechanical Vibration Preferred Design and Analysis of Structure, Systems Engineering, PLM, Theory of Machines, Optimisation Topology / Topography / Shape / Size, Design of Experiments (DOE),
