Job Description
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for taking ownership of customer issues reported and ensuring that problems are resolved effectively. This includes installing applications in IIS, updating SQL Server database, and researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting system issues to identify solutions. You will follow standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams and ask targeted questions to understand the root cause of problems quickly. Your role will involve tracking issues through to resolution within agreed time limits, guiding clients through troubleshooting steps via phone, email, or chat, and providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers. You will refer to internal databases or external resources to offer accurate tech solutions, prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously, and follow up with clients to confirm that their IT systems are fully functional post-troubleshooting. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely reports. We are looking for candidates who hold a degree in Science or related disciplines and have practical experience or strong knowledge in SQL Server. Proficiency in Windows Operating System administration and management is required, along with expertise in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for this role. Dedication to working night shifts is a must, as this position exclusively operates during nighttime hours.
