As a Product Designer at our fast-growing company in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our user experience for our B2C customers. Collaborating with product managers and engineers, you will lead the design process from concept to implementation, ensuring that user needs and business goals are met. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for both web and mobile platforms. By conducting user research and testing, you will continuously refine and improve our product designs. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring consistency and quality across platforms through responsive design. Staying updated on design trends and best practices, you will enhance the user experience by incorporating the latest insights into your work. Working closely with developers, you will ensure the accurate implementation of designs while contributing to or maintaining existing design systems and guidelines. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in product design, with a specific focus on B2C products. Your strong portfolio should demonstrate your expertise in designing mobile and web interfaces. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar is required, along with an excellent understanding of UX/UI principles. Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative working in cross-functional teams is a must, as well as strong communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions. Preferred qualifications include experience working with financial institutions or fintech startups, as well as knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
