Job Description
As an Associate Manager in Fund Accounting at SS&C, your responsibilities will include reviewing daily/monthly PNL & NAV, preparing and reviewing investor allocations, analyzing MIS for reconciliation, and resolving complex breaks. You will be expected to enhance operational efficiency by implementing continuous process improvements, reviewing financial statements, and establishing control checks for Straight-Through Processing (STP) in the Fund Accounting process. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a CA/MBA Finance/CFA/MMS qualification with relevant experience in Fund Accounting. You should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial products and accounting principles, experience in supervision and team management, effective communication skills, a strong learning ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Additionally, client orientation is a key aspect of this role. Your goals as an Associate Manager will be to ensure client satisfaction in CRM call reports, achieve zero issues in IA review/SOC1 certification, meet NAV delivery deadlines 75% of the time, address breaks promptly, complete projects efficiently, minimize financial changes during CFR review, meet audit deadlines, and organize/deliver training sessions.
