Associate Manager - Fire

1. Support in managing and coordination of all fire and emergency response operations across Green PVC Petrochemical complex.
2. Support incident commander during fire, gas leak, explosion, or chemical spill emergencies. 
3. Conduct scheduled inspections of fire hydrants, sprinklers, foam monitors, fire pumps, fire water lines, deluge systems and maintain its records.
4. Conduct periodic testing of fire alarms, foam systems and fire suppression systems. 
5. Check and maintain fire fighting equipment (hoses, nozzles, fire extinguishers, foam tanks, BA sets, PPE etc.) to ensure 100% availablity and functionality. 
6. Always ensure adequate firewater tank levels and pressure in distribution lines
7. Conduct pump house performance checks including diesel and electric pump runs. 
8. Follow up with maintenance to execute preventive maintenance plans for fire protection systems. 
9. Track and close audit observations in coordination with plant departments
10. Support in updation of Fire protection layout drawings (P&IDs, Fire water network layout and maps.
11. Ensure all fire safety documentation and compliance records are up-to-date and readily available. 
12. Ensure appropriate distribution and availability of fire fighting equipment, PPE, fire suppression systems and rescue tools across the plants.
13. Procure Fire Safety Equipment ie fire extinguishers, hoses, pumps, fire suits, other specialized firefighting gear etc including PPEs 
14. Ensure that all necessary spare parts and consumables are readily available for use. 
15. Conduct structured training programs and refreshers on fire extinguisher use, evacuation procedures, emergency roles, and first response actions.
16. Organize awareness sessions, Fire prevention talks, and fire safety campaigns for plant personnel to promote a proactive safety culture.
17. Execute the drill in a controlled, time-bound manner to simulate emergency response procedures and test personnel performance. 

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Fire Engineering, Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc Fire

8+ years in Fire Service Function of large scale complex in Chemicals or Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas.
