As a part of the Research & Analysis (R&A) team focusing on the US market, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients primarily in the Resource, Energy, and Infrastructure (REI) sectors with a global presence. The Research & Analysis team plays a crucial role in identifying and managing risks associated with the business while serving as the bridge between Coverage and Risk functions. Our goal is to ensure well-balanced outcomes for ANZ, emphasizing customer-centricity, proactive risk management, and operational efficiency. The end-to-end relationship credit management process encompasses Credit Writing, Risk Grading, Risk Analysis & Credit Approval, Documentation, and Portfolio Monitoring to maintain a high standard. Your responsibilities will include conducting research and analysis as well as overseeing credit management activities for US clients, which involves leading and supervising a team of three analysts. Key duties include providing leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and timely credit analysis, risk evaluation, and credit management. You will be responsible for assessing risks related to clients" capital and management structures, financial performance, and specific assets/projects. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing detailed credit papers, managing risk grade events, collaborating with Relationship Managers and Credit teams on risk and financial performance issues, and maintaining the portfolio within established quality parameters. To excel in this role, you should possess strong Credit Analysis skills, business acumen, people management experience, excellent report writing abilities, and a relevant professional qualification such as a Chartered Accountant or an MBA in Finance from a reputable institution. Effective communication skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, a process-oriented mindset, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in credit analysis or research fields is preferred.
