Overview The Associate Director of Sales plays a vital role in shaping the revenue strategies of the hotel. As a senior member of the sales team, the Associate Director is responsible for driving sales performance, developing strategic initiatives, and managing key client relationships. This position is critical not only for meeting and exceeding sales targets but also for enhancing the hotel's market position within the competitive hospitality landscape. By collaborating with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams, the Associate Director of Sales ensures alignment of objectives and the effective execution of strategies that engage prospects and convert them into loyal guests. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and clients. Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals. Analyze market trends and competitor activities. Prepare and present quarterly sales forecasts and reports. Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of hotel sales experience. Prior experience in a leadership role preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry dynamics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze financial reports and sales data. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Willingness to travel as required for client engagement. Strong networking abilities and relationship-building skills.
