Job Description

As an Associate Data Owner in our team, you will play a crucial role in enabling our business to drive faster innovation through the effective use of data. By ensuring that data is accurately documented, maintained at high quality, and well-protected, you will contribute significantly to our organization's objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass managing data created, provisioned, or consumed in various business applications, supporting business operations, advanced analytics, and reporting functions. Developing subject matter expertise in data critical to your business area, you will collaborate with technology and business partners to ensure the delivery of data aligns with quality and safety requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting processes that identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks throughout the data life cycle in compliance with Firmwide policies and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Capture and document metadata and classifiers of the data critical to your business area. - Execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks throughout the data lifecycle, including those related to data protection, retention, storage, use, and quality. - Develop and deliver data to support business operations, strategic objectives, advanced analytics, and reporting goals. - Research and document key insights about data critical to your business area and its impacts on providers and consumers. - Collaborate with technology and business resources to ensure data content and quality meet established requirements. - Investigate and document potential data quality issues for escalation and remediation. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a data-related field. - Understanding of business or product data and related processes. - Ability to collaborate effectively through internal partnerships. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Structured thinker with sound business acumen. - Proficiency in SQL and database technologies. - Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
