Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that processes and procedures meet quality standards and are consistently applied and reviewed regularly. You will work closely with internal resources, external fund administrators, and external auditors to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines. Additionally, you will be involved in the monthly and quarterly close processes, reviewing financial statements, producing cash flow projections, monitoring compliance with limited partnership agreements, and preparing various reports for limited partners. You will also be responsible for entry, management, and oversight of operations and accounting in eFront and other accounting systems, reviewing and approving expense activity, and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Ares India office. **Qualifications:** - Approximately 3-5 years of relevant work experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance or Accounting) from an accredited institution - Chartered Accountant or CPA license preferred - Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word including complex formulas and macros - Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools is a plus **General Requirements:** - Big-4 public accounting experience strongly preferred - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Strong communication skills to analyze and summarize complex information both verbally and in writing - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage various deadlines - Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail - Knowledge of private equity structures and other investment products preferred - Ability to collaborate with remote teams and manage multiple priorities effectively - Solutions-oriented self-starter with an analytical mind and a passion for process efficiency - Good judgment and comfort in dynamic and fast-paced environments - Energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic - Dependable, motivated, and a team player with the highest degree of integrity and intellectual curiosity **Reporting Relationships:** You will report to the Vice President, Co-Investment.
