Your Role Innovaccer is seeking a Clinical Specialist with expertise in suspect logic development, medical coding, and value set curation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical terminologies such as ICD, CPT, LOINC, SNOMED, and HCPCS, with a passion for creating precise and efficient suspect logic to drive healthcare insights A Day in the Life 1. Value Set Curation: Develop, review, and maintain high-quality value sets for medical coding terminologies (ICD, CPT, LOINC, SNOMED, HCPCS). Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. 2. Suspect Logic Development: Design and implement suspect logic for identifying gaps in care, risk stratification, and quality measures. 3. Quality Assurance: Validate and refine curated value sets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance. Monitor outputs to identify errors and ensure alignment with expected clinical outcomes. 4. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, logic definitions, and value set updates. Generate reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. What You Need Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing, Medicine, Clinical Informatics, Health Information Management, or a related field. Experience: Good experience in medical coding, value set curation, or clinical informatics. Hands-on experience with suspect logic development in healthcare analytics is a plus. Technical Skills: Good Clinical Knowledge. Proficiency in clinical terminologies (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, LOINC, SNOMED CT, HCPCS). Familiarity with tools for value set management (e.g., VSAC, FHIR terminology services). Understanding of healthcare quality measures (e.g., HEDIS, CMS measures). Soft Skills: Excellent documentation abilities. Team player with a collaborative mindset. High attention to detail and quality. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EHR data integration or healthcare analytics platforms.
