Job Description
As an Underwriting Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support Senior Underwriters and collaborate with the Operations Team. You will be tasked with comprehending risks outlined in Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and facilitating the execution of quotation offers on a daily basis. It will be your duty to meticulously maintain quote referrals and scrutinize the Policy Manual for accuracy. In addition, you will play a crucial role in coordinating policy issuance with the operations team and ensuring accurate system booking. You will be expected to uphold turnaround time (TAT) standards and generate daily reports before the end of each workday. Having a specialization in Insurance will be advantageous for this role. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Liability Underwriting and have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in General Insurance.
