Job Description
You will be responsible for ensuring the buying activities of all bought out items and spare parts, including scheduling, follow-up, and liaising with Transporter. Your primary focus will be to maintain inventory levels within the defined norms and ensure timely availability of materials as per the plan. Your functional responsibilities will include coordinating with the Customer Care and Product Support Team to address non-serviceable parts, alternate parts, and interchangeable parts by understanding requirements through the E-Catalogue. You must adhere to customer queries promptly and manage tasks such as PO release, PR closure, and old ASN closure. Additionally, you will be in charge of procuring materials based on customer priority (VOR/BDT/Back Order) and continuously monitor and enhance the effectiveness of the procurement process. Daily tasks will involve working on backorders and commercial FFR. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree. Candidates with a Diploma and 10 to 15 years of experience or a BE with 5 to 10 years of experience will be considered. In addition to your educational background and work experience, the following competencies and personality traits are essential for this role: 1. In-depth knowledge of sourcing process 2. Good understanding of products and product aggregates 3. Familiarity with the vendor base in India, particularly in the auto ancillary sector 4. Strong communication skills in written and verbal English, Hindi, and preferably a regional language 5. Effective communicator capable of engaging with vendors at all levels 6. Proficiency in problem-solving 7. Customer-focused approach 8.
