Job Description
As an Assistant Manager of Instrumentation & Automation at Gradiant India Private Limited in Chennai, India, you will play a key role in providing advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions, conducting technical evaluations, and developing specifications for instruments and control systems such as PLC, DCS, ESD, and F&G. You will focus on optimizing instrument systems to minimize costs while ensuring compliance with performance requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating instrument data sheets, loop diagrams, and implementing instrument detail designs on P&ID's. Your role will also involve activities such as preparing instrument material take-off, instrument HOOK UP diagrams, cable schedules, cable routing layouts, instrument earthing layouts, and JB/RIO panel interconnection drawings. You will collaborate with suppliers for Factory Acceptance Tests (F.A.T.) and Site Acceptance Tests (S.A.T.), as well as provide side support for commissioning activities.
