Assistant Manager - ICC

Roles and responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of workpapers for Taxable Income and Earnings and Profits Calculations for CFCs and other foreign entities
  • Review of international tax filings such as CFCs, and foreign information reporting (Form 5471, , Form 8858, Form 926, Form 5472 etc.)
  • Preparation and review of ECI, FDAP and Foreign Withholding Information for foreign investors (Form 1042/1042S, Form 8804/8805.)
  • Preparation and review of fixed asset workpaper and depreciation/Gain or loss calculation
  • Preparation of workpapers related to provision calculation
  • Proficient on Go System/OneSource income tax, Corptax and other Tax Compliance tools.
  • Assisting team members to prepare for e-file and review of XMLs
  • Manage client's engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects). Managing engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement billing.
  • Supervise and train staff and New Joiners on tax projects as buddy.

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum Master's Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance Experience
  • The candidate must have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a Big 4 Firm
  • Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance and understanding of Federal taxes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e., Excel).
